Final Day
SGI Captures the Podium
On our final day of competition, Makayla Veli started us off by putting in strong routines in the level 7 age 9-10 category, where she captured the Bronze medal on Beam and placed 6th All-Around.
Next up we had Zoe Hounsell-Gill who took the title of Provincial Champion in the level 7 age 11-12 category as well as the Provincial Champion on Floor with a whopping score of 9.866! Kaira Lym, in the same category, took the podium with the Silver medal on Vault and placed 8th All-Around. Sophia Morra, also in the same category, took 7th place on the Floor with an amazing 9.50 score!
Helping end the championships on a high was Abby Man, level 7 age 12, who was 5th on Beam and 6th on Floor with an overall 9th place finish.
SGI also earned the Level 7 Gymnastics Ontario 3rd place team award!!!
