SGI surpasses expectations
Congratulations to our SGI Level 7-10 gymnasts for their great results at the Ontario Championships in Windsor! They were amazing and we are so proud!
Kicking us off on day one was Nika Takagi who gave a stellar performance in Level 10, age 16+ where she won three medals: All-around Bronze, Provincial Champion on Bars, and Bronze Medalist on Vault! Nika has also qualified to compete at the Canadian National Championships in May!
Next, Mikaela San Jose stepped it up in her Level 10, age 14-15 category where she landed a spot on the Eastern Canadian Championships team that is going to PEI! Mikaela is also the first alternate to the Canadian National Championships!
Later in the day, Chiara Morra put in some strong routines in the Level 7, age 12-13 category, placing 8th on vault and 7th on floor to take the 10th all-around spot meeting her goal of top 10!
